GEORGE VOGLE

George has been playing drums since the age of 10.  He has played in the Atlanta scene with Cheers and BackTraX.  Moving from Chicago he started playing in Atlanta in the late 70's. While attending the University of Alabama, he played in a "horn band" called Heatwave.  George enjoys listening to and playing all types of music.

PETE MORLEY

// keys, vocals

 

Pete grew up in Northern California, but has lived in Atlanta off and on since 1985. After growing up in a family of boys, Pete now spends his time with his wife Kelli and their two daughters, Alex and Sam. Pete was trained as a classical pianist, but has learned to love and appreciate all types of music. He has been playing in rock bands since he was 11 years old. Pete is also an inspiring songwriter, 

SHELLI FARQUHAR

Shelli has been singing as long as she could talk!  Originally an Air Force brat from Illinois, she has lived in Atlanta for over 25 years. She's performed everything  from musical theatre and cabaret to gospel and rock & roll. In her spare time she runs around with her "boys" -  three sons, Nathan, Duncan & Ian and supportive hubby Rich who also shares his musical talent as a drummer.  Shelli was originally in One Night Band, BackTrax, and Now Last Call

 

 

 

 

 

JACK KAPLAN

Jack started pickin' on a six string guitar, but quickly mastered the bass when playing in a band with his 2 brothers in Kansas City, one on guitar and the other a drummer.  Growing up there he played in various high school bands. Coming to Atlanta in the 80's,  he hosted a Jam for local musicians for over 4 years and played with various bands including: Time Machine, Parnasus, the Ballistics, BackTraX,  Big Biscuit Band,The Rock Bottom Blues Band, who opened for Cheap Trick, Little Feat, Foghat, Georgia Satellites, Leslie West & Mountain and more. Playing great music with friends and having a great time is what is now important!

JERRY POWELL

Jerry Powell (guitar and vocals), born in North Carolina, raised in New York City; a resident of Atlanta since 1996. Jerry has been playing guitar since age 15. He’s shared the stage with the likes of Patti LaBelle, Frieda Payne, Tavares, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, Eddie Kendricks, The Spinners, Lenny Welch, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, The Fifth Dimension, and Larry Gatlin. He toured the U.S, Canada, and Mexico as guitarist and vocalist as a member of ‘Satyr’, the backup band for Carol Douglas, who recorded the hit song ‘Doctor’s Orders’. He was part of a project initiated by conductor, Leonard Bernstein; and another, with Charles Callelo (conductor/arranger for Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra, The Four Seasons). Both, however, did not bear fruit. He’s recorded for Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff (Sound of Philidelphia Records), and Bob Reno (Midland Int’l Records). He was also part of the band performing music for an ‘off Broadway’ show that featured Morgan Freeman. Jerry has, for the last several years, been part of the popular Atlanta based variety band, ‘The Neons’.
